How this works
Reported The servo has told the state scheme the fuel is unavailable (Queensland, South Australia and Victoria report this directly). These clear when the servo reports a price again, or after 48 hours without being re-confirmed.
Possible The servo still reports its other fuels, but this one has dropped out of the latest full report (how we read New South Wales, Tasmania and Western Australia, which don't report outages directly). It may be sold out, or the servo may have stopped selling it. A possible outage only shows once two full reports at least two hours apart both lack the fuel, and we ignore a fuel that drops out for many servos of one brand at once (that's a change in how the brand reports, not a shortage). These clear when the price returns, or after 30 days.
Nothing here is crowd-sourced or estimated beyond that: it all comes from official government reporting. Call ahead before a long drive.
